Finance/Assistant Manager

Leigh started with Peninsula Personnel in May 2003 as a Temporary Consultant, throughout the years she has worked in all areas of the business drawing on her account management & recruitment experience. In 2010 she completed her studies in accounting and oversees the Finance Department. Leigh is also acting manager in Lisa’s absence and is across all facets of the business.

What I love most about working for Peninsula Personnel

I love that our agency is localised on the Northern Beaches and has a great sense of community. Our temps and clients continually support us year after year with many of them becoming friends, both professionally and personally.

Biggest moment in life

  • As a 17-year-old leaving home and my little country town behind and moving to the city.
  • The joy of becoming a mother when my son was born and the many moments since watching him grow up.
  • Trekking to the top of Machu Picchu in Peru.
  • Crossing the finish line of the 60km Mornington Peninsula Coastrek.
  • Learning to ski at 40 was a big achievement.
  • Walking through Strawberry Fields in Central Park as it lightly snowed, while a guitar player sang Imagine, I had literally just stepped off the plane in NYC hours earlier and this was a surreal feeling I won’t forget.
