Curriculum to Career: A Peninsula Personnel program that helps students become work ready

Motivated by a desire to help students become job ready and find work, along with our concern regarding the high rate of youth unemployment, Lisa Bousfield established Curriculum to Career (on the Northern Beaches, 7.95% of 15 to 24 year olds are unemployed, compared to 12.2% for NSW*).

What started out as Lisa’s ‘baby’ project has grown to become a popular program of presentations and workshops specifically designed for secondary and tertiary students of any age.

To ensure each session is informative, engaging and relevant, Lisa and her team of qualified consultants draw on their extensive knowledge and 40 plus years’ combined experience in recruitment and closely collaborate with teachers, career advisors, local enterprises and councils.

Sessions are tailored to suit the participants' requirements and objectives and can be held as an incursion at school or at Peninsula Personnel, for one person or a group.

To date, Curriculum to Career has presented workshops for students at St Luke’s, Brigidine College, Stella Maris College, Oxford Falls Grammar School, Pittwater House, Knox Grammar School, Mackellar Girls, Freshwater Campus and Arden College.
